Baked Vegetable Recipe
Ingredients
- French beans 1/2 cup
- Carrot 1/2 cup
- Broccoli 1/2 cup
- Mixed bell pepper 1 cup
- Mushrooms 1/2 cup
- Peas 1/4 cup
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Salt as taste
For White Sauce
- All-purpose flour 2 tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Milk 2 cups
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Oregano 1/2 tsp
- Chili flakes 1/2 tsp
- Salt as taste
- Cheese 1/2 cup
Method
- Heat the butter in a pan.
- Now add all-purpose flour and stir fry it for a minute.
- Add milk to the pan and whisk it well to avoid lumps.
- Bring it to boil and add salt, black pepper, oregano, and chili flakes.
- Boil it for 4-5 minutes and whisk continuously.
- In a pan heat the butter.
- Now add the vegetables and stir fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
- Lastly, season it with salt.
- Now add the vegetables to the prepared white sauce and mix it well.
- Now take the rectangular deep box and grease it with butter.
- Transfer the vegetables to the bowl.
- Sprinkle the cheese on the top.
- Place the bowl in a preheated oven at 400F/200C.
- Bake it for twenty-five minutes or until the vegetables are light golden brown.
