While you are exposed to the freezing temperature over some time, your metabolism slows down to conserve energy and heat. Where the weather has dropped, you tend to notice more people sniffing on the street. Where low immunity lessens you to easily get infected so you need to enhance the immune system in the best way you can.

    But with the changing weather, our food habits have been changed where seasonal fruits and vegetables are loaded in the market and it is a good idea. While snacking is a must chosen option for everyone but according to the season, we can shift towards some healthy snacks option like nuts and seeds which could help further you tread through the nippy weather. It helps you to keep warm in chilly winters with health benefits. A combination of nuts with seeds and dried fruits are the best snack option and consist of hundreds of essential nutrients and minerals.

    There is a myth in the mind of many eaters that eating nuts and seeds lead to unnecessary weight gain but it comes in a superfood category which is tiny but filled with various nutritions and helps you to go with ease in the winters. These nuts and seeds will reuse from winters and keep you warm. It is full of proteins and fibre where ether easily triggers thermogenesis for heat production in the body. While you can various seeds and nuts according to your preference as per your taste with an array of options available for you.

    Walnuts

    It is full of nutrients that help you to keep your body warm and your brain healthy. Walnuts are rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. It has anti-inflammatory properties where they naturally moisturise your skin and give a healthy glow too. In winters it is best for drying the skin which will give moisture to your skin. You can easily add them to your salad, cakes, cookies or just snack them for generating body heat in cold weather.

    It is one of the popular superfoods which many people eat during the start of their day by smoking them overnight. Almonds are high in vitamin E, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and many others. It has essential nutrients which are necessary to keep your immune system healthy and strong. It helps in regulating the blood sugar level to reduce the cholesterol, almonds and helps in boosting the overall immunity.

    It is on elf the most popular nut all around where many people love to eat raw as they are extremely helpful in winters. It is full of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals which help to reduce cardiovascular disease and cholesterol issues. It helps naturally to nourish and hydrate the dry skin.
