Ingredients
For Boiling Pasta
- Water 5cups
- Salt 1tsp
- Oil 1tbsp
- Penne pasta 2cups
For Tomato Puree
- Water for boiling
- Tomato 5
- Dried red chili 2
For Red Sauce Pasta
- Olive oil 2tbsp
- Garlic 3-4
- Onion 1
- Chili flakes 1tsp
- Mixed herbs 1tsp
- Black pepper 1/2tsp
- Salt as taste
- Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
Method
- In a large pan add water let it come to a boil. Once the water comes to a boil add salt, oil, and pasta to it.
- Boil it for 7-8 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked. Drain off the pasta and keep it aside.
- In a large vessel add water let it come to a boil. While on the backside of tomatoes give the cross cut or marked x with the help of a knife.
- Once the water is boiled add tomatoes, red chili, and boils it for 5 minutes.
- Drain off and peel the skin of tomatoes. Blend to smooth paste, keep aside.
- Now in large kadai, take olive oil and saute garlic to it.
- Add onion and saute it well.
- Now add chili flakes, mixed herbs, pepper powder, and salt. Saute well.
- Add prepared tomato puree, tomato sauce, and mix well.
- Cook for 2 minutes or until tomato puree is cooked completely.
- Now add boiled pasta and mix well.
- Finally, grate some cheese and enjoy red sauce pasta.
