Quinoa Phirni
Ingredients
- Quinoa 1 cup
- Sugar 3/4 cup
- Milk 2 cup
- Condensed milk 2 tbsp
- Ghee 1 tbsp
- Saffron strands 3-4
- Almonds (chopped) 1 tsp
- Pistachios (chopped) 1 tsp
Method
- In a pan heat a tablespoon of ghee.
- Add quinoa to it.
- Roast till it changes the colour to a golden brown.
- Now in a pan boil the milk with saffron strands.
- Add roasted quinoa to the pan.
- Cook it for 10 minutes.
- Now add sugar to the pan and stir well.
- Add condensed milk and mix well.
- Lastly, add chopped almonds and pistachios.
