Quinoa Phirni


  • Quinoa 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Milk 2 cup
  • Condensed milk 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Saffron strands 3-4
  • Almonds (chopped) 1 tsp
  • Pistachios (chopped) 1 tsp


  1. In a pan heat a tablespoon of ghee.
  2. Add quinoa to it.
  3. Roast till it changes the colour to a golden brown.
  4. Now in a pan boil the milk with saffron strands.
  5. Add roasted quinoa to the pan.
  6. Cook it for 10 minutes.
  7. Now add sugar to the pan and stir well.
  8. Add condensed milk and mix well.
  9. Lastly, add chopped almonds and pistachios.
