    Deliciously Simple Cracker Barrel Squash Casserole

    Cracker Barrel Squash Casserole is an easy to make dish that is sure to be a hit at your next family gathering. The combination of cheese, squash, and crackers makes for a flavorful and comforting dish that everyone will enjoy. This recipe is perfect for a side dish at a holiday dinner, or as a main dish for a weeknight meal. Read on to learn how to make this delicious dish.

    Ingredients

    1. 2 cups of squash, diced
    2. 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
    3. 2 cups of crushed butter crackers
    4. 1/4 cup of melted butter
    5. 1/4 cup of chopped onions
    6. Salt and pepper, to taste

    Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
    2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
    3. In a large bowl, mix together the squash, cheese, crackers, butter, onions, salt, and pepper.
    4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.

    Cooking

    1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
    2. The casserole is done when the top is golden brown and the squash is tender.
