    CREAMY CHOCO LAVA CAKE

Jagriti ShuklaBy Jagriti ShuklaMarch 21, 20234 Mins Read

One of my most favorite chocolate desserts is choco lava cake. It is a cake on the outside and has a nice and luscious creamy lava inside. It is ultra chocolaty and decadent. The best part of lava cakes that the cake itself is moist and tender around the edges but once you get into that molten gooey rich and thick lava filling. When tender creamy chocolate oose from the cake makes you mesmerize and you cant stop by eating.

Choco lava cake is a simple and easy recipe that is made by few ingredients. Its name derives from the dessert’s liquid chocolate center, and it is also known as chocolate moelleux, chocolate lava cake, or simply lava cake. Across the globe is known as chocolate decadence cake, soufflé, chocolate fondant, and even flourless chocolate cake.

    History Of Choco Lava Cake

The United States-based chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten claims to have invented molten chocolate cake in New York City in 1987, but the French chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres disputes this, arguing that such a dish already existed in France. According to Vongerichten, he pulled a chocolate sponge cake from the oven before it was done and found that the center was still runny, but was warm and had both a good taste and texture. Regardless of who invented the dish, Vongerichten has been credited with popularizing it in the United States, and it became almost a very popular dessert at high-end restaurant menus.

    • To make it healthy you can make it with wheat flour too it is not mandatory to use all-purpose flour.

You can make choco lava cake with the same batter in the microwave. Use the same batter, in a microwave-safe mug add dark chocolate chunks in the bottom and then pour the batter on it and do not over-fill it. Put in the microwave on full power for 90 sec to 2 minutes max. Remove and enjoy it warm. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and serve it.
